Performance assessment is based on a certain standard,procedures and methods.It is used to analyze and evaluate the tasks and the duties of the staff in order to improve staff management level,improve and work thusiasm.It plays a positive role.Performance assessment of staffs is conducive to the formation of work norms.It can regulate the work behavior of the staff and develop roads to a healthy environment for professional development.It can the establish a fair internal competition environment.It is a best way to strengthen the enthusiasm of the staff,and promote the professional quality.This paper studies the performance assessment system of Guangdong Vocational College of post and telecom,which is helpful to enhance the work enthusiasm of teachers,complete teaching and research tasks.It can also provide reference for other higher vocational colleges.This paper analyzes the problems existing in the performance assessment of Guangdong Vocational College of Post and Telecom at the present stage.After obtaining the data by means of expert method and questionnaire investigation,it makes exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis and constructs a more scientific system of performance assessment,which includes four dimensions of work performance,quality,work process,and work attitude.Work performance includes: workload,teaching and research competition performance,professional construction,education work,scientific research and patent performance,teacher enterprise practice,social service;quality include: professional quality,teaching ability,classroom management ability,innovation ability,scientific research ability;work process includes: adherence to discipline,teaching objectives,teaching content,teaching evaluation,and after-school counseling;work attitudes include: responsibility,dedication,ideology and morality,cooperation spirit,and mental health.At the same time,on the basis of the teacher performance appraisal index system,this paper initially establishes the teacher performance assessment scheme of Guangdong Vocational College of Post and Telecom,clarifies the object,cycle,content of the appraisal and the feedback and application of the appraisal results.It has certain theoretical and practical significance for the design of the teachers' performance assessment scheme of Higher Vocational colleges.
