The Research Of University Life Education

Nature become beautiful and vivid because of the presence of life. The western famous Ideologist Pascal once put people compared to a thinking reed. On the one hand, the human with thought have an advantageous position in the whole universe. On the other hand, the human life is so fragile and vulnerable. Confucius said：“At fifteen I set my heart upon learning. At thirty, I planted my feet firmly upon the ground. At forty, I no longer suffered from perplexities. At fifty, I knew what were the biddings of heaven. At sixty, I heard them with docile ear. At seventy, I could follow the dictates of my own heart, for what I desired no longer overstepped the boundaries of right.”It is show that the whole life is a constant pursuit of life, groping, apprehensive, receptive process. With the development of economy and social progress, people’s life style, the thinking mode as well as the value idea have also had the change along with it. Materialism, Commercialism, Hedonism is in the fashion. Many people just pursuit the material life, and ignore the value of life. Under this background, a new education thoughts arise. It is life education.The target of education is people. The essence of education is open the spiritual life, tap existing potential. Life education is mainly help people to know and cherish life, respect other people’s life, based on the initiative thinking life’s significance, seeks own value, promotes life quality, raises the humanistic spirit. In recent years, the violence incident and suicide incident about the university students occur frequently. The student’s life condition has aroused society’s concern. In our country, although the life education also has certain theoretical research, but the lack of systematic education on the university student’s life, especially the implementing ways of research. Therefore, the research of university life education has become an important task in front of educator.This paper focus on the university life education. Firstly, it discusses the meaning of life education and its theoretical source, and the relationship between life education with ideological and political education. It is concluded that life education is an important part of university ideological and political education in the new period. Secondly, this paper selects10university students in Anhui Province for the following two survey：the investigation on students’ view of life and the investigation on development situation of university life education. Through the investigation and analysis of the data finds that the university student’s life values have some problems. The university life education situation is unoptimistic. Thirdly, in view of the survey result, this paper proposed the life education’s content. The university life education’s content may divide into five aspects：the life consciousness education, the life faith education, the life responsibility education, the ideal of life education and the death education. Finally, based on the investigation and analysis of the preceding statement, this paper proposed the efficient ways of the life education. The concrete ways includes：establishes perfect life education’s curriculum system, integrates the life education into the ideological and political education, develops the rich campus activity and social practice, promotes the cooperation in every way and builds the three-dimensional life education. The author hopes that these suggestions can improve and strengthen the effectiveness of the university life education.
