Compared with college students, the age, experience, and academic tasks of the postgraduate are very different. For their uniqueness and the previous research of them, we do this research. To analyse the current situation of the postgraduate in academic burnout, professional commitment and core self assessment and explore the relationship among them.Based on the study of relevant literature and past research, we revised the relevant questionnaire and compiled "Professional Commitment Scale for postgraduate".400individuals from7college schools were assessed with "Academic Burnout Scale for postgraduate" which was compiled by Cheng tao,"Core Self Assessment Scale" which was compiled by Ren zhihong and "Professional Commitment Scale for postgraduate" which was compiled by us. We used the Statistical software SPSS11.5and LISREL8.5to analysis the dates. Get the following conclusions:1. It can’t be ignored for the academic burnout phenoment of the postgraduate. In "heavier" and "serious" level, there are at lest18.9%. And academic burnout mainly attributed to achievement low. There is a significant differences in professional types and cultivating mode of the Postgraduate academic burnout; In the emotional depletion dimensions, females is higher than males and the individuals who has work experiences before is higher than the one who hasn’t, the one who must pay the tuition are higher than the supported student. In achievement low dimension, history class graduate has lower achievement than the science and engineering postgraduate.2. The professional commitment of the postgraduate is overall in normal. It has significant differences in grade, professional type, colleges type; Sex, work experience and cultivation mode does not exist significant different.3. Postgraduates’ core self assessment level medium slightly on the high side. In addition to the master who are in comprehensive colleges is higher than the ones enrolled in normal colleges, other classification of master has no significant differences.4. The professional commitment are highly correlated with academic burnout, and the professional commitment can be used to predict academic burnout. 5. The core self evaluation and academic burnout of post graduate the are highly correlated, and the core self evaluation can be used to predict academic burnout.6. The core self evaluation effect academic burnout indirectly, which through emotional commitment factor and normative commitment. Professional commitment has a Intermediary effect between the core self evaluation and professional commitment.
