Studies On Rousseau’s Ideas On Physical Education

Jean Jacques Rousseau (1712-1778) is an outstanding thinker in the18th century of the enlightenment movement of France. He is also a founder of the modern child psychology and education theory, which is effort to freedom, love, thought of outstanding representative. Rousseau is one of the most important French thinkers,philosophers and educators in the European enlightenment. But the fear is that the existing studies of Rousseau’s ideas on physical education and there are some errors in their studies. Therefore, dig deep and accurate read Rousseau sports thought, has the important role in theoretical significance and practical significance.The main methods the Thesis used are documentation method and Delphi technique. By the relevant theory of Rousseau himself about the "psysical education(L ’Education physique)", Rousseau’s "naturalism sports thoughts", and the ideas about Rousseau added some new understanding of some problems existing in the research.The results show that:(1) Purpose, the connotation of Rousseau’s idea of physical education is rich. The idea that Rousseau’s purpose of physical education is "cultivating natural person" point of view, which is biased. In addition, Rousseau is " L ’Education physique" one of the founders of the world.(2) Rousseau’s "thought of naturalism physical education " about "nature" and other thinkers’ understanding of the "nature" is different.(3) long before Rousseau, Comenius, lifetime sports thought is put forward, thus Rousseau’s thought about physical education is not one of the earliest advocates of lifetime.(4) Rousseau’s view of women’s physical education have meaningful content, it should be given attention.(5) A solid theoretical basis Rousseau’s and Rousseau’s personal growth experience, as well as the very important on formation of sport thoughts.(6) Rousseau’s thought about physical education and humanist quality education advocated in modern China closely fit, we should let the thought of Rousseau to serve the reform and development of modern school sports in China.
