Research On Sports Thought Of Dong Shou-yi

Dong Shouyi(1895-1978)Lixian County people in Hebei,the pen name heart race,Jun by,our country famous sports family,sports educator,social sports activist,new China's first International Olympic Committee member.The practical quality of Dong Shouyi's sports service is worthy of imitation.The scientific attitude of sports research is worth learning,and the patriotic spirit of maintaining sports rights is worthy of respect.Dong Shouyi's sports thought still has reference value for the development of contemporary sports.From the research situation of Dong Shouyi's sports thought,the number of literature quoted by Dong Shouyi is insufficient,the depth and systematicness of the research are insufficient,and the foundation of Dong Shouyi's sports thought is not explored.Therefore,it is necessary to further explore the research of sports ideology to supplement Dong Shouyi's related contents in modern sports thoughts.Based on the above reasons,this article analyses and collate the relevant literature of Dong Shouyi by means of literature,logic analysis and historical research.On this basis,it combs the formation of Dong Shouyi's biographical resume and sports thought,and probes into the social and historical background,sports thought factors,knowledge a nd practice activities of Dong Shouyi's sports thought in the formation of Dong Shouyi's sports thought.The influence,induction and practice of the main content of Dong Shouyi's sports thought,and the understanding of his sports thought,expounded the value and significance of his sports thought to the present time.The research holds that:(1)the development of Dong Shouyi's sports thought includes: the stage of enlightenment sports,the stage of physical education,the stage of sports knowledge,the stage of sports concept,the stage of promoting the thought of sports and the deepening of the connotation stage of sports.(2)in addition to the influence of modern politics,culture,education and sports development,Dong Shouyi's sports thought was also influenced by "pragmatism","naturalism","sports salvation" and Mike(C.H.Mc Cloy,1886-1959),James Nye Smith(James Naismith,1861-1939)and Zhang Boling(1876-1951),The influence of Wang Zhengting's(1882-1961)sports concept.Meanwhile,Dong Shouyi's massive sports practice and profound theoretical knowledge also have some influence on the formation of his sports thoughts.(3)Dong Shouyi's sports thought includes: creating a perfect personality and edifying the view of social life sports education;not taking the victory or defeat as the value target of the competitive sports,the view of sports competition,the high quality of the referee talent view,the social system guarantee,the practical view of the whole people participatin g consciously,the universal value,the Olympic movement view of promoting world peace,and so on,five aspects..(4)the contemporary value of Dong Shouyi's sports thought is mainly manifested in deepening the moral infiltration in sports;popularizing school sports with sports competitions;advocating high quality sports professional view;strengthening the quality of sports journalists;calling for the return of the Olympic sports spirit.
