TV Media has changed our understanding of the reality, therelationship among people and that between people and thesociety, it has become an indispensable entertainment activity,as well as one of the main forces of the people socialization. Atpresent, there is a trend that more and more preprimarychildren watch the TV at an earlier age and they spend moretime on TV, because there are more and more TV programs forthem to choose from. Being in a critical period of socialization,preprimary children have not formed the regular thinkingtendency. The characteristics of the preprimary children’sphysical and psychological development determine they mightindiscriminately accept information from the outside world.With the perfect combination of sound and picture, the media isvery popular with the preprimary children. Preprimary Childrenwill easily accept whatever content the media spreads, which has great impact on their cognitive level, personalitydevelopment, ethics etc. Does the TV media do more harm ormore good to the preprimary children? What can we do to makethe fullest use of the TV media, to make it helpfully promote thepreprimary children’s socialization process? That is themeaning of the research.The theoretical basis of the article is sociology,communication, psychology and pedagogy. From sociologicalvisual angle and methods, the article studies the influence ofthe media on preprimary children’s socialization through thequestionnaire of parents of preprimary children, involving andobserving the life of preprimary children and depth interviews.The research begins with three aspects of preprimarychildren’s life and labor skills, ethics and role play, analyzingthe impact of the TV entertainment and enlightenment functionon preprimary children’s socialization process, putting forwardreasonable suggestions, with the hope of promoting preprimarychildren’s socialization faster and better.The article is divided into five parts: the first part states thepurpose and meaning of the research. The second partintroduces relevant theories of children’s socializationresearch domestically and abroad, the theoretical framework of this paper and the research process, defining the coreconcepts involved in the article, as well as the method used inthis study its adaptability. The third and fourth parts, theanalysis of the questionnaire and the interview results,summarize the TV media’s double effect on preschool children’slanguage ability, thinking consciousness, behavior guide,character building, interpersonal interaction, etc. And putsforward suggestions and measures to guide the children watchTV Science.The fifth part expects and rethinks the research.
