The Research Of High Level Athletes’ Cultivating Current Situation And Countermeasure In General Universities Of Hei Longjiang Province

In1987, our county established51colleges and universities to be the firstexperimental institutions of high-level sports teams. With many physical educators’unremitting efforts for more than twenty years, high-level sports teams of all the collegesand universities in our country has developed towards the positive, normative andwell-organized direction. In many international high-level physical competitions, a numberof high-level athletes coming from colleges and universities has also gained greatachievement. However, we should be prepared for danger in times of safety. At present, theprocess of cultivating high-level athletes in colleges and universities has had manyproblems to improve. At the present stage, there are two problems: how to combinecompetitive sports and higher education well and how to make them develop more healthy,continuous and harmonious.The thesis makes the analysis on the situation about the enrollment and themanagement of learning, training and competition, and coach team in the process ofcultivating high-level athletes of colleges and universities in Hei Longjiang Province so asto make the conclusion as follow:1. In colleges and universities of Hei Longjiang Province, high-level athletes are mainlyfirst grade sportsmen. Compared with the past, the student resource had great changed, andthe proportion of the professional team and retired athletes still descended. The numberof athletes with a high school degree has still increased, because their training level hasincreased and they also have the advantage about cultural foundation. However, manyreasons cause the phenomenon of lacking students.2. In Hei Longjiang Province, high-level athletes’ cultural foundation is lower. Whenenrolling in colleges or universities, there is a privilege about lowing points for high-levelathletes. After entering into colleges or universities, for lower cultural foundation and nodiversity of curriculum provision and organizational form compared with common students,a great number of athletes do not have a satisfactory point about cultural courses. Athletesmainly take the method about some preferential policy to pass the cultural courses, which,in some degree, declines cultivating quality. To these athletes, all the causes make them nothave the enthusiasm of learning.3. To high-level athletes in Hei Longjiang Province, there are not enough competitionsevery year so that athletes lack experience and responds ability. Meanwhile, for lacking thebudget, the standard of logistics service do not reach the requirement of healthydevelopment in high-level sports teams, and there are few professional researchers andrehabilitating workers. 4. To high-level athletes in Hei Longjiang Province, there is a contradiction betweenlearning and training. Due to some relative departments lacking coordinative management,there are also some problems when athletes distribute time between learning and training.5. To high-level coaches in Hei Longjiang Province, the age structure and the title structureare reasonable. High-level coaches have some coaching experience, serious attitude, andhigher enthusiasm to working, but the academic structure is lower. Most coaches havethe bachelor degree, while they lack vocational training and opportunities of study.Moreover, coaches are appointed by administrational orders to train sports teams, and theyusually reflect large workload and lower social benefits.According to what we discuss above, we can make the following suggestion:1. Reform the enrollment method, and establish the professional enrolling supervisoryorganization for high-level athletes in colleges and universities. Break the presentprocedure of entrance exam, and coordinate relative departments to resolve thecontradiction between learning and training in order to enhance high-level athletes’standard of culture and training.2. In future, we should strengthen the cultivating duty of high-level coaches, enhancecoaches’ academic structure, break the appointment system of high-level coaches, andestablish and complete the cultivating and incentive system of coaches. Additionally, wecan take the importing method to invite high-level professional coaches as part-time job inorder to make young coaches grow quickly.3. In Hei Longjiang Province, all colleges and universities should increase communication,hold friendly matches and standard matches at regular intervals, establish vocationalmatches of professional features, rationally apply social resource, and realize thediversification of fund resource.4. Adopt some advanced management experience abroad, gradually establish a lengthwayssystem of transmitting talents with between athletics and education, and structure theprimary-middle-school-university cultivating model for sports talents.
