Research On The Non-Governmental Non-Profit Unit’s Support Of Sports Activity

According to the survey statistics of the health organizations around the world, autism in recent years has become a global epidemic, and its symptoms will accompany during lifetime, and it can’t be completely cured, autism rehabilitation has become a urgent work around the world. In China, the private rehabilitation or training centres provide education services to the autistic children, in which the sports and games intervention are wilddly used.This paper is study on the non-governmental non-profit unit’s support of sports activity by using the literature material method, interview method, field survey method, questionnaire survey method and comparative analysis.This paper based on a case study on the operation of "LaLaShou" special education center in Xian.The research shows that "LaLaShou" special education center not only provid sports/games interventions in the center,but also created the "love cup" special Games.Althougth it has already made some achievement, there are still some problems, mainly including:small agencies within the area of sports venues, the existing sensory integration training equipment is limited; lack of sports activities activities, and it’s difficult to arouse children’s interest in participation; the parents need to know more about sport intervention including the method; lack of human resources of the Games Organizing Committee of the "love cup" special Games sources of funding instability; limited support of Government agencies.According to these problems, writter provid several recommendations:Internal support sports activities:"LaLaShou" should pay more attention to sports activities to improve the quality of the intervention, such as strengthen the sports game design, to stimulate interest in the active participation of children and improve the effects of interventions; strengthen sports activities for parents interventions training and emphasize the value of sports activities intervention which is important to build the "home-center-community" pattern.External support sports activities:integrate human resources for the arrengement of "love cup" Special Games; take advantage of the media to expand the Games influence, and exploit different sources of funding; create a better policy environment for "love cup" special Games, and take advantages of the influence of the government to promote the Games.
