Research-based study of mathematics is a core part of integrated practiceactivity curriculum. It is a new learning way for students to study scientifically,achieve and apply knowledge actively under the guidance of teachers.After the publishing of the2011Edition for Compulsory Education MathematicsCurriculum Standard, what’s the current situation of implementing research-based study of mathematics? Are there any problems? Why do the problems appearand what are the improvement measures? All these are hot topics for reforms onbasic mathematics education, which is the main direction for this thesis.In order to realize the present development, the writer performs trackingstudies on class teaching in various junior middle schools in Qingdao accordingto the plan. After listening to class, releasing questionnaires to teachers andstudents and talking with teachers, the writer gives persuasive attributionanalysis. Through the study, there exist the following problems. First, know littleabout the educational idea of research-based study and do not coincide in opinionof curriculum objective. Second,there are few research-based learning resourcesthat are appropriate for mathematics in junior middle schools. Projects intextbooks are short of operability and hierarchy. Third, Schools don’t organizeand supervise the curriculum implementation according to the specification. Fourth,there is no diverse evaluation and corresponding standard.All in all,implementing the research-based study of mathematics in juniormiddle schools lacks effectiveness in helping students construct knowledgeframework, training the student to find and solve the problem, cultivatinginnovation spirit and practice ability. This thesis puts forward the followingimprovement countermeasures.First, according to junior middle schools students’ psychologicalcharacteristics and cognitive law and the concept of modern education, improvethe theory in the field of research-based study of mathematics. Second, improvethe existing curriculum resource and make the highly effective lesson as important curriculum resource for sharing. At the same time, build the standard of choosingtextbooks and develop further new curriculum resource scientifically. Third,strengthen schools’ supervision and management, formulate reasonable schoolcalendar, attach importance to the evaluation and feedback of implementing thiscurriculum. Organizing scientifically and orderly, implementing standardly andstrictly, two of which aim to stimulate the development of this curriculum. Expandthe training for teachers to raise their awareness of research-based study ofmathematics and improve their teaching and studying skills. Fourth, improve thediverse evaluation system to make teachers and students have a clear recognitionand master the operational methods. It’s also advised to increase relevantrequirement for senior high school entrance examination.To prove the feasibility of the above countermeasures, the writer chooses twoclasses from a junior middle school in Shibei, Qingdao and compares them. Aftera term’s practice, the classes that reform the study curriculum excel in themathematics tests. Investigating by releasing questionnaires also proves theresult of accomplishing the goal effectively. There is reference value inimplementing research-based study of mathematics in junior middle schools.
