Restrictive groups Sandplay is a therapy limited by certain rules, members of thegroup in the course of treatment without any form of exchanges Members place sand andtoys freely in the "free" protected space, free play of the imagination and express theirinner emotions. When there is a conflict or friction between the members of the group,they need to adjust themselves to understand each other proactively, to reach a tacitunderstanding, and ultimately achieve the effect of cure,this treatment method is theimportant results of Sandplay localization. In this paper, we examines the effectiveness ofinterventions of the groups Sandplay in freshmen interpersonal adaptation, mainly toqualitative research, supplemented by quantitative research, enrich the content of therestrictive group Sandplay, provide a reference for the students’ psychological healtheducation and group counseling.The paper is divided into six parts. The first part discusses The Restrictive GroupsSandplay Therapy, Freshmen Interpersonal Adaptation theory and research status, thenproposed research questions. The second part described the overall study design. Third partI analyzed the data in-depth, presents the results and analysis from the questionnaire beforeand after interventions, the Restrictive Groups Sand-play analysis and the life story of thelifeline interviews and intervention models. The fourth part I discussion the results in depth;Fifth part I came to the conclusion of this study based on the findings and analysis; Part sixI reflect on the overall research and take Looking.In this study, based on questionnaire survey, combined with the return visit ofcounselors and counselor interviews,I screened12participants from the4696freshman ina college (six students in intervention group, six students in the control group). Theintervention group received twice-weekly the restrictive group sandplay intervention (total of seven), the control group did not contact any Sandplay activities. Post-test ofquestionnaire was measured two weeks after the end of the intervention activities, thelifeline interviews as measured delay was take four weeks after, a large number ofquantitative and qualitative data was collected. respectively, using the SPSS17.0, and QSRNviv07.0analysis software to analyze the data.The results show that: characteristics of the restrictive Groups Sandplay and healingmechanism is applicable adjustment to solve the freshmen interpersonal adaptation. Theintervention had significant effect of on the freshmen social avoidance and socialdistress.The interpersonal sensitivity, depression, anxiety, paranoia, obsessive-compulsive,terrorist and other symptoms in interpersonal communication of freshmen weresignificantly improved, hostile symptoms improved, but did not reach a significant level.Thus, the restrictive group sandplay therapy can be applied to the specific situation ofcollege freshmen interpersonal adaptation.This study provides a theoretical framework for the system to understand and in-depthstudy Restrictive Sand-play Therapy in theory, and provid suggestions to RestrictionSandplay in school counseling and mental health education in guiding significance inpractice.
