Research On Social Work Practice For The Problems Of The Adolescent Psychological Barriers

Currently, the problem of the adolescent psychological barriers has already become ahot issue in the community of common concern. Academia also makes a related analysisand research on the problem of the adolescent psychological barriers, related to all aspects,for example, the number, features, performance, reasons, trends, countermeasures and soon. However, these researches, in particular, most of the suggestions for the adolescentpsychological barriers are analyzed and proposed from other disciplines as psychology,sociology and pedagogic angle, and less research analyzes and intervenes from the point ofview of social work. Based on this situation, this thesis selects the perspective of socialwork to intervene the problem.This thesis selects an adolescent with psychological barriers as a typical case, uses thefield observations, the case interview, the for example method, qualitative analysistechniques and upholds professional social work theories and methods to analyze andintervene the problem of the adolescent psychological barriers, as for an attempt to providea new vision and ideas about solving the problem of the adolescent psychological barriers.First of all, the thesis analyzes the feasibility of the intervening on the problem of theadolescent psychological barriers by social work methods. Secondly, the thesis discoursesthe whole process of intervention by social work methods on the problem of the adolescentpsychological barriers prominently, including taking the case, estimating, planning,intervention, evaluation and closing six steps. Lastly, the thesis discourses the reflection onthe process of the intervention on the adolescent psychological barriers by social workmethods, including the summary about the roles played by the social workers in theintervention process and some problems needing attention in the intervention process, andthe author hopes the results of the research contribute to the solving the problem of theadolescent psychological barriers and promotes the development of youth social work.
