With the speeding up of urbanization, more and more peasants begin to work in city, migrant workers is increasing in a large number.At the same time, there has a new group--unattended children. This research will choose a small group of unattended children——the junior school students,as the research object. The junior school students ’ study is still in a stage of heteronomy. Their self-discipline ability is very weak. While the unattended junior school students’ parents stay out and they have a special relationship with their guardian. These students is lack of timely and effective discipline and guidance. The majority of these students is learning difficulties.The traditional perspective of social work thinks the unattended junior school students has problems and disadvantages. This research will abandon this perspective, using the strengths perspective. This perspective considers these students also have their own advantages and potentials. When they are in trouble, they can use their own advantages and potential to enhance the resilience. Under the guidance of this idea, using the method of group work to intervene these students.This research’conclusion is:group work intervene the unattended junior school students of learning difficulties on the strengths perspective can improve their academic performance enhance their confidence、help them realize their own advantages and potentials.
