Junior high school is an important period for youngsters’ development,not only to adapt to the rapid development of body and mind,but also to heavy academic pressure.With the development and progress of the social economy,the state has paid more and more attention to education,and the management of the school,the expectation of the parents,the academic pressure of the middle school students is becoming more and more heavy.Middle school students have not yet mastered effective decompression methods.Parents and teachers do not attach enough importance to it.Although social work has been introduced into China,it has a short time,but it still has a certain role in promoting young people’s healthy growth,exploring young potential and helping them to adapt to social life.The research adopts the group work method,under the guidance of the advantage perspective theory,helps the case owner to explore his own advantages,stimulate his potential,improve his self-confidence and enhance his resilience.Correctly understanding self and academic pressure and improving teamwork ability.Grasp the methods of stress reduction and emotional management,and seek appropriate channels for stress and emotional catharsis.On the basis of the B institution of the author’s internship,eight students in the participating group were finally determined through the voluntary application of their students and the recommendation of their teachers.Group activities totaled five times a week for a month and a half.After the end of the group,the questionnaires were used to analyze the results of questionnaires,interviews,interviews and social workers’ self-assessment.Results show:The questionnaire showed that the decompression group had a good effect on alleviating academic stress,anxiety and interpersonal tension and sensitivity,and had no significant effect on the factors of emotional instability.The satisfaction questionnaire shows that the group members are very satisfied with the group design and the overall views of the staff.Finally,according to the results of the study,we reflect on the working methods and research process of the group,and put forward suggestions for the problems.
