The teaching of Ideological and Political Course in middle school should take bothlife and knowledge into consideration. But because of many reasons, educationmechanically based on boring books and divorced from life can be often seen during ourlessons. Studying inclined to knowledge make itself boring, which is hard for studentsto getting the goal of moral education.The education idea of “based on life” in the new curriculum reform promotes waysof basic teaching to the trend of Life-based one, which make students developed theirqualities in a reasonable way.Life-based teaching of the Ideological and Political Course in middle schoolaccords with this idea, which is also excellent way of changing deficiency in ourteaching. Only in this way, can we walk out difficult situation and make best use ofeducation in training people.This thesis firstly defines and analyzes the feature of connotation of life-basedteaching of the Ideological and Political Course in middle school and expounds therealistic meaning of it, meanwhile the thesis conducts some investigations of the currentsituations of life-based teaching of the Ideological and Political Course in middle schooland gives analysis of reasons of these problems, accordingly the thesis gives somecountermeasures and suggestions of life-based teaching of the Ideological and PoliticalCourse in middle school.This thesis approves that there are five parts of teaching of the Ideological andPolitical Course that can make our teaching interesting, that is building life-based onteaching in multiple dimensions, proposing teaching contents based on life,demonstrating the way of teaching from lives, improving ways of teaching evaluationsand developing diversity educational resources. In this way, we can improve the effectives of Ideological and Political Course and train all round development students.
