The aims of this study is to explore the relationship among mothers’ parentingstyle, self-supporting personality and interpersonal trust of college students, toprovide some guidance for mother in the process of educating children and guide theimprovement of the students self-supporting personality level and interpersonal trust.Ultimately achieve the purpose of promoting college students’ psychological health.The study used Egna Minnen av Barndoms Uppfostran-own memories of parentalrearing practice in childhood (EMBU), Self-Supporting Personality Scale forAdolescent Students (SPSS-AS), Interpersonal Trust Scale (ITS) to examine548college students and conducted statistical analysis by means of SPSS For Windows19.0. The paper not only analyzed mothers’ parenting style, self-supportingpersonality and interpersonal trust of college students on population variables,investigated the correlation among mothers’ parenting style, self-supportingpersonality and interpersonal trust of school students, but also discussedself-supporting personality playing mediating effect between mothers’ parenting styleand interpersonal trust of school students.Here are the conclusions:1. The Gender has a significant main effect on negative Mother’s Parenting Styleand Personal Self-Supporting: boy’s score is significant higher than girl.2. The number of child has a significant main effect on mother’s parenting styleand self-supporting personality: the score of only child is significant higher thanmore than one child in positive Mother’s Parenting Style and Self-SupportingPersonality.3. The mother education level has a significant main effect on mother’s parentingstyle and personal self-supporting: the higher degree mother level, the higherscore in Warmth and Understanding, Rejection, Interpersonal Self-Supporting.4. The interaction among gender, the number of child and the mother’seducational level: The number of child and mother’s educational level have asignificant interaction in Warmth and Understanding, Self-Supporting Personality, Interpersonal Trust. The gender and mother’s educational level have a significantinteraction in Self-Supporting Personality.5. There is a significant correlation between mothers’ parenting style,self-supporting personality and interpersonal trust. Positive mothers’ parentingstyle and self-supporting personality, interpersonal trust have a significantlypositive correlation. Negative mothers’ parenting style and self-supportingpersonality, interpersonal trust have a significantly negative correlation.6. The result of linear regression: rejection, warmth and understanding,preference has good prediction effect to interpersonal self-supporting; rejection,warmth and understanding has good prediction effect to personal self-supporting;warmth and understanding, overprotection has good prediction effect tointerpersonal trust; interpersonal self-supporting has good prediction effect tointerpersonal trust;7. Mediating effect test results show that self-supporting personality plays amediate role mothers’ parenting style between and interpersonal trust.
