Research Between Parenting Style And Interpersonal Relationship Of Junior High School Students

This study explored the relationship between parental rearing style,interpersonal relationship,psychological security and prosocial behavior tendency of junior high school students.600 junior middle school students were selected as the subjects,and the Chinese version of simple parenting style(S-EMBU-C),interpersonal relationship scale,security scale and prosocial tendency scale were used to investigate the subjects.On the basis of describing the overall status of parental rearing style,interpersonal relationship,psychological security and prosocial behavior tendency of junior high school students,this paper carries out the difference analysis of demographic variables,correlation analysis among variables,regression analysis and exploration of mediating effect.The research results are as follows:(1)Junior high school students' interpersonal relationship level is relatively high;The scores of the older children in interpersonal relationship,heterosexual relationship,homosexual relationship and teacher-student relationship are significantly higher than those of the single children and the non-older children.The score of same sex relationship is significantly higher than that of urban students;(2)There was a significant positive correlation between parental emotional warmth and psychological security and prosocial behavior;Psychological security was positively correlated with interpersonal relationship of junior high school students;Prosocial behavior was positively correlated with interpersonal relationship;Psychological security was positively correlated with prosocial behavior;(3)The emotional warmth of parents can directly predict the interpersonal relationship of middle school students,that is,the more emotional warmth parenting style junior high school students' parents adopt,the better their children's interpersonal relationship;Parental emotional warmth can also affect junior middle school students' interpersonal relationship through psychological security and prosocial behavior;(4)Parental emotional upbringing can influence junior high school students' interpersonal relationship through the chain mediating effect of psychological security and prosocial behavior;The above results show that parental emotional warmth in parenting style can affect the interpersonal relationship of junior high school students,and psychological security and prosocial behavior play an important role in parental emotional warmth parenting style and interpersonal relationship.Therefore,in the education of junior high school students,we should attach more importance to the sense of security and moral education of junior high school students on the basis of the parenting style.
