Objective: Understand the interpersonal relationship problems of freshmen.To understand the influence of parenting style and family environment factors on newborn interpersonal relationship.Explore the relationship between family environment,parental rearing methods and other factors and interpersonal distress of freshmen.To provide directions for the development of targeted intervention plans for interpersonal relationship disturbances among freshmen,to improve the interpersonal relationship status of freshmen and promote the development of mental health of college freshmen.Methods: In this study,1223 freshmen of 2018 from Guangxi medical university were selected by cluster sampling.The research tools were: general situation questionnaire,Interpersonal Relationships Integrated Diagnosis Questionnaire,Family Environment Scale-Chinese Version,Egrma Minnen av Bardndosna Uppforstran.Statistical methods: SPSS 23.0 and Amos23.0 software were used for rank-sum test,chi-square test,Spearman rank correlation,Logistics regression analysis,Harman single factor test and Bootstrap test.Results:1.Among the freshmen,47.7% had interpersonal trouble,among which the interpersonal trouble rate was the highest(61%)and the interpersonal trouble rate was the lowest(9.2%).2.The detection rate of interpersonal relationship problems among freshmen was not statistically different in terms of only children,left-behind experience,family location,education level of parents,family structure,and the longest separation from parents(P> 0.05).In terms of family economic conditions,the frequency of contact with parents,and ways of dealing with conflicts with parents,the difference in detection rate of interpersonal relationship problems is statistically significant(P<0.05).3.Among the family environment factors,freshmen without interpersonal disturbance scored higher on seven factors,including intimacy,emotional expression,culture,entertainment,morality,organization and control,than freshmen with interpersonal disturbance.The contradiction factor score was lower than that of freshmen with interpersonal problems.The above differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).4.New parents who are troubled by interpersonal relationships are punished and severe,parents interfere excessively and are overprotected,parents’ refusal and denial are higher than those without troubled interpersonal relationships,and parents’ emotional warmth scores are lower than those without troubled interpersonal relationships.The differences are statistically significant(P<0.05).5.Interpersonal disturbance is negatively correlated with 7 factors,such as intimacy,emotional expression,culture,entertainment,morality,organization and control.It is positively correlated with the contradiction factor.The above differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).6.Interpersonal disturbance was negatively correlated with parental emotional warmth,and positively correlated with parental punishment,parental excessive interference,parental overprotection,and parental refusal to deny.The above differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).7.With the increase of the score of success,excessive interference of mother and overprotection,the risk of interpersonal relationship troubles of freshmen is increased.The scores of entertainment,organization and emotional warmth of mothers were increased,and the risk of interpersonal relationship troubles was reduced.8.Freshmen’s family environment has an indirect impact on interpersonal relationships,and the parenting style plays an intermediary role.Conclusion: 1.Interpersonal relationship is one of the main psychological problems for freshmen.2.The parenting style of freshmen plays an intermediary role between family environment and interpersonal relationship disturbance.
