Parent is the essential element in the parent-child interaction, for the concept of the parents’role could directly affect their own behavior, and so as to affect the behavior of children and the parent-child interaction. The purpose of this study is to analyze the characteristics of the concept of the parents’role, as well as the relationship between the concept and the parent-child interaction. The study involves two major:the first is that whether the concept of parents’role exists significantly difference on demographic variables; the second is the relationship of the concept of parents’role and the parent-child interaction. In this study,446parents from Chong-Qing, Si-Chuan, Shan-Dong, An-Hui and Shang-hai have been choose as the object. Based on the theoretical analysis, four dimensions that autonomy awareness, participatory, self-positioning and controllability are used to work out the questionnaire about the parents’role concept in to access the valid data and analysis the features of parents’role concept. In addition,21parents from Si-chuan have been observed and investigated to explain the role behavior and concept, to explore the relationship between the concept and the parent-child interaction, and to provide educational proposals to promote the parent-child interaction. The conclusions are as follows:1. The notion of parent role constitute by parent cognize of autonomy, parent cognize of participation, parent cognize of self-positioning, parent cognize of controllable four dimensions of18questions constitutes the preparation of the questionnaire has good reliability and validity, can be used as a tool for measuring the notion of parent role.2. The study found that Parent-child parents concept of role on the demographic variables were significantly different aspects of the child’s age, the identity of the parents, family income and parents education differences can affect every aspect of parent role concept in institution for early education; but the sex of the child on parent-child parents concept of the role of affect was no significant difference.3. Relationship between the notion of parent role and parent-child interaction:the notion of parent role and parents actively sexual, respond, focus and are spoken exist significant positive correlation, but the notion of parent role and the presence of negative significant with negative correlation; parent cognize of autonomy and parents’ enthusiasm, respond to, the presence of focus significantly positive related, on the parents has no negative exists a significant negative corresponding; parent cognize of controllable with parents actively sexual, respond to, the presence of focus significantly positive related, exist on the parents has no negative significant negative related but parents these two dimensions of the participatory awareness and parent cognize of self-positioning performance with the parents of each dimension there is no significant correlation; the notion of parent role and children positive emotion, negative emotion, response, focus, disobedient, autonomy, mobility and the verbalization have not significant correlation.4. The notion of parent role though parents performance as an intermediary variable predict the performance of children. The notion of parent role predictive the parents performance; the parents performance to predict the performance of children; parents role concept did not predict the performance of children. Therefore, the notion of parent role through parent performance has an impact on children’s performance.
