This research is based on the Chinese teaching experience in Ateneo de Iloilo in the Philippines. It follows the relevant theories such as study on learning interest, learning motivation and parent-child interaction theories. A parent-child interaction task is designed among the Grade 8 students in Ateneo de Iloilo, which aims to improve students' learning interest and learning effects.First of all, this research introduces the research background and methods. Then we focus on the surveys on students' learning interest before we start the parent-child interaction task. It includes the present situation of students' Chinese learning interest and analysis of the influence of family factors on students. The next part is the design and practice of the parent-child interaction task and the evaluation of the whole project. At last, we give conclusion on this research and suggestions on future study.
