With the development of science and social progress, many countries start topay attention to upbringing of young children. In recent years, early educationinstitutions start to appear for children aged from0to3. The number of themis making a great increase; however, research results in this field are fewer.The author visited three early educational institutions at Shijingshan Districtof Beijing, researching it with three methods, which are literature, interviewsand observation. Through a very comprehensive study of early educationalinstitutions, the author pointed out problems, analyzed the causes of theproblems and made corresponding countermeasures. Main reasons are asfollowed, first, people have a narrow concept of education and it has aknowledge-based tendency. Second, parents are lack of sense of participation.Third, teachers will not stay at the same institution for a long time, at thesame time; the professional level is not high. Fourth, the government givesless investment, but early education institutions charge high fees. For theseexisting problems, the author proposes some countermeasures, which includesfive main aspects. First, people need to convert the education philosophy.Second, teachers need to improve parents’ Participation. Third, it’s time toimprove level of education. Fourth, it’s necessary to build a multi-level,diversified social management and support systems. Finally, it is worth ofexploring co-ordination of pre-school and co-operative development model.
