| Student teaching is an important part of the teaching plan that carried by the normal schools.It is also an indispensable part for normal students to consolidate the professional knowledgeand to accumulate teaching skills, which will lay a good foundation in teaching andmanagement work. Studying the student teaching will not only enhance its scientific andsystematic, improve the quality, but also help the normal students for making the preparationboth in theory and thought, thus, develop its positive influences fully. At present, the structureof our student teaching is in the key stage of the reform and development. As the ties oftheory and practice for normal students, the improvement of student teaching will foster thedevelop of the whole normal education, which will make a constant influence on the teachers’professionalization.Being regarded as the educational powers, both China and the United States have its owncharacteristics in student teaching module. Comparing their student teaching structures fromcomparative and analytic angle will truly find out some principal regularities that can adapt todifferent cultures, that is, by analyzing the educational accomplishment of the two countries,we can borrow some American methods based on our own development.This paper mainly analyzed the student teaching’s structures of the two countries from threeaspects: the key responsibilities of the supervisor, the requirement of the normal student andthe management of the student teaching. Through the analysis of the similarities anddifferences and the interview, the author tried to put up with some useful suggestions to ourreform. Based on that, this paper collected considerable information on the student teachingprograms of the two countries by using literature method, then compared the two structuresdeeply through comparative method, finally, pointed out the exist problems by interviewingthe normal students.The paper mainly included six parts: the first three parts introduced the purpose,significance, the methods and relevant conceptions. Part four probed into the similarities anddifferences through comparing and analyzing, and pointed out some problems by interviewingthe normal students. Part five made a conclusion based on the findings and interview whichinclude stronger management, closer cooperation, more efficient supervise and evaluate optimization. Part six summarized the paper and pointed out the inadequacies. |
