Since the enrollment expansion in2005, more than8million students entersecondary vocational school in our country each year. The cases concerningsuicide-committing, school violence, drug-abusing and animal-mistreating byvocational school students are more and more reported by medias. The problemsand phenomena have aroused dynamic social response that they looked down on theirown lives, lacked respect and treasure for their body, looked down upon others’lives and were indifferent about others’ sufferings, which gradually became animportant topic concerned, discussed and researched by educational worldNot only should education nurture talents with outstanding professionalknowledge and skills, but more importantly it should also develop peoplespiritually and holistically. Strengthening the life education of secondaryvocational school students is not only the essential requirement to carry outpeople-oriented scientific development outlook and build up socialisticharmonious society, but also an important and imminent new programme about themanagemet of secondary vocational school students, it really bears the graveand immense meaning for the stratedy of fully achieving in flourish the countrywith science and education as well as talents, improving the capabilities ofour citizens, and cultivating and conserving the reliable and qualifiedfollowers for Socialism with Chinese characteristics.Current research is based on some available investigation results by others,make a sheet listing all essential inquisitive and interview items in previousformat. It focuses on the education situation about the life of technical andvocational students, figures out the deep-rooted problems by referring torelated documentations, the intent is to come up with the suggestions andsolutions to improve or even ravel out these headache problems, hoping to makemeager contributions to both the theory and practical jobs on the life educationof those studentsThis thesis is mainly divided into five parts. Part one is instruction,whichmainly introduces research background,the theory of life education to secondaryvocational students,overseas and domestic research status,the research objectives,significance,research methods and so on. Part two is the survey,result and analysis of the current situation of life education for the secondaryvocational students. This part is chiefly about the analysis of theinvestigation result from the questionare and interview data,summarizes theproblems which exist in current life education for the secondary vocationalstudents. Part three mainly provides an analysis for the problems in lifeeducation of vocational high school students. Part four is about relaventmeasures, which discusses the ways and methods of life education on secondaryvocational school students from the aspect of school, family and society. Thepaper stresses that life education is a complex and syetemic project. We musttake efforts from all three aspects—school, family and society, in order tobring satisfying results. Part5contains the research conclusions, innovationsand reflections of subsistent questions and research directions of the thesis.
