The Study On The Persent Situation Of Secondary Vocational School Students’ Leisure Life

With the rapid development of society and the great progress in the degree of civilizationpeople are enjoying more leisure time now, which provides the possibility for people toachieve the comprehensive and harmonious development. However, more leisure time doesnot necessarily mean leisure life of high quality. In practical leisure life is closely connectedwith the all-round and personality development of human. Secondary vocational schoolstudents are in the key period of physical and mental development, their sell-consciousnessover-expands sharply and personality develops rapidly. All these endow them with a strongadaptability. They will not only enjoy great progress in physical and mental health but alsotake a positive attitude to their future occupation and life if they form proper and healthyleisure life habit during this period. Otherwise, their leisure life may become a hidden troubleboth to themselves but also the society. All these call for greater attention to the presentsituation of secondary vocational school students’ leisure life.The study is based on the investigation of the First Secondary vocational school inYanTai. The questionnaire is carried out among310secondary vocational school students ofdifferent gender, different classes and different pool of applicants about their arrangements,activities, consumption, techniques and life experiences of their leisure life. Aftercomprehensive comparison and study, we find that the present situation of their leisure life isnot so optimistic and some problems are even serious. We try to discover the reasons for theseafter careful analysis and bring forward the basic idea of the education to secondaryvocational school students in terms of the theory of all-round development of humans.We hope to raise the overall quality of the secondary vocational school students andprovide support for their over-all development.
