Music sanctifies us with its unique beauty, and it promotes the cultivation of one’s personality aesthetic value in the field of education. With the presentation of more educational research achievements nowadays, music education is also relying on its more scientific and rigorous educational theory, by means of music, to develop unique education method, looking forward to a better fostering way of education. The process of music education about what is taught and how to teach shows the philosophical thinking and educational idea that music enlightens people. This thesis analyses the Sixth Site Selection of National Primary and Secondary School Excellent Music Lessons held in2012, through content analysis research method, and with the help of action research, to do deep music discipline teaching from the description and explanation of the process, sticking to the idea of positivism scientific research to get a result of methodology from the scene, i.e. the analysis of teaching cases one by one, thus helping the author and more frontline music education teachers and those who are preparing to be professional teachers choose their teaching standards and become aware of their teaching concepts. Facing so many ideas and methods, how to make choices between them, how to use them skillfully and how to make progress continually to teach better in the part of music is an aspect which music education educators are thinking and which should also be paid attention to including the researcher who is fresh to this field. The thesis is based on analyzing the41music lessons’ teaching process of the Sixth Site Selection of National Primary and Secondary School Excellent Music Lessons to get a view of the problems and phenomenon of Chinese elementary music education. In this process the author thinks over the music education concepts and investigates the teaching beliefs to help make the theory-to-practice could practice better. From the view of reality, it will help visualize the teaching thoughts and build up teaching concepts for music teachers who are going to teach music in the frontline, and this is where the goal of the thesis and the research lies.
