The study mainly investigated the concept of the International music teaching,then sum up the teaching methods,combining with the local music teaching materials,to improve the Rhythm of grade 2 students in elementary school.Proving that the method is effective in improving the rhythm of the students in low age.Then summarizing the experience of t he whole research process.The study was based on an action research.The subjects included five classes of 2th grade.The research tools consisted of “Rhythm Perception Test”,“Steady Speed Perception Test”,“Expression of Rhythm Sense Test”,“Expression of Speed Sense Test”,and Lesson Plans.Through the application of SPSS software,the data was analyzed by descriptive statistics and T-test.The main research findings were listed as follows:1、 The International music teaching methods can improve the rhythm of grade 2 students in the author’s elementary school.2、 The application and implementation of the International music teaching methods should be adjusted according to the own actual situation.
