Outline of primary school information technology curriculum clearlypointed out:“Learn Chinese characters input is the information application abilitythat each student must master in the primary school stage." In recent years, contactwith the migrant workers’children students, as a first-line information technologyteacher,I obviously feel the migrant workers’children students have difficulties inChinese characters input. This article mainly starts from HongQiao airport primaryschool grade three to grade five students recent three years Chinese characters inputcompetition score, by comparing the data intuitively, found that migrant workers’children students Chinese characters input speed is obviously lower than the averagelevel. Then, to explore how to improve the ability of Chinese characters input ofmigrant children as the main research direction of this paper, carried outquestionnaire to the teachers and students, to understand the regional informationtechnology teachers’ perplexity and experience about the migrant children Chinesecharacters input teaching, and main factors affecting primary school for migrantworkers’ children students Chinese characters input speed.
