Researching teaching is not only a teaching strategy or a learningmethod for teachers and students respectively, but also a combinationof teaching, learning as well as a new idea, which is characterizedby inquiry, practicality, openness, autonomy etc.It graduallyattracted people’s attention since the1990s during the process ofour education reform.Along with the transformation that urged themiddle school education change from examination-oriented education toquality-oriented, meanwhile Basic education curriculum reform alsoadvocates students’ active engagement,ready exploration, andcultivating their knowledge-acquire as well as problems-solvingabilities. Under this background, research-based teaching becoms aninevitable option for senior high school in the teaching of the coursecalled ideology and politics literally in chinese. Research-basedteaching is complied with the direction of quality-oriented educationdevelopment and accord with the education concept advocated by basiceducation curriculum reform, thus faciliting the ideological andpolitical curriculum to achieve better teaching effect.However,research-based teaching still has some problems in the application ofideology and politics teaching in high schools, Such as the disparityin the teaching effect and teaching goal, the misunderstanding ofresearch-based teaching and less attention paying to student’s mainbody status etc.Therefore, more comprehensive exploration as well asanalysis should be made on how to implement research-based teachingin ideology and politics teaching in high schools,enabling it to playits effect. This paper probes into the implementation of research-basedteaching in the senior high school thought political lesson from fiveparts, mainly using the literature research, comparative research,description of research methods.The first part is the understandingof the concept of research-based teaching reading and its backgroundanalysis, mainly focusing on its meaning, characteristics, objectivesand value. At the same time, the current middle school education presentsituation is analyzed and significance of the implementation ofresearch-based teaching in high school thought political lessonteaching is put forward against the current education practicebackground. Based on the theories constructivism teaching, humanisticteaching and multiple intelligence,the theoretical basis andenlightenment of the implementation of research-based teaching isgiven in the second part.In the third part, the writer comes up withits goal and the principle, after a comprehensive analisis ofresearch-based teaching and consideration of this course’scharacteristic.The teaching process is discussed from the aspects ofthe teaching idea reconstruction, requirements for teachers as wellas students requirements and teaching strategies application in theforth part.In the fifth part the writer suggests that all sorts ofconditions should be created to promote the research-teaching in highschool thought political lesson, which also requires the accelerationof resources development and utilization in its realization,a rationalteaching evaluation mode as well as a good environment for development.Overall, it is my hope that we can fully understand and grasp theconnotation of research-based teaching by the research of itsimpletion in high school thought political lesson teaching, thusimproving its teaching effect and achieving the requirements ofquality-education along with enabling high school students to develop various ability and to obtain comprehensive development.
