Modern teaching under new curriculum concept more and call for the reform of teaching method. To this, the situational teaching method is a new kind of teaching method, it conforms to the development of the knowledge economy era, will also be a positive influence on high school students quality education. In this paper, combining the situational teaching method and the high school thought political lesson teaching,study the use of situational teaching method in high school thought political lesson teaching background. Studied under the background of new curriculum the high school thought political lesson situation teaching and its innovative application of theoretical and practical significance. Back many ancient and modern, Chinese and foreign education experts and scholars think about the situation teaching, research, its rich theory and the practice results gave us a profound lesson.This paper focuses on the implementation of situational teaching method in high school thought political lesson teaching in China’s present situation, problems, an analysis of the causes and the existing problems, especially the application of the situational teaching method innovation countermeasures are put forward. Through the research of this paper, in order to effectively improve the pertinence and effectiveness of high school thought political lesson teaching.
