Young teachers are the backbones of the teaching group and the hope fordevelopment, whose professional improvement is essential to the development of theeducation. However there are some ideological, psychological and economicproblems and puzzles in the growth of young teachers in such areas as work, studyand life, which affect the personal professional growth and the development ofeducation. This article will take Huantai County as a case and use the qualitative methods tofigure out the puzzles young teachers came across during their professionaldevelopment in the period of entry, growth and maturity. It will focus on thedifferences of the professional development of teachers, especially some difficultsituations where some young teachers get into their work quite slow, and even can notbe able to adapt to their teaching jobs. Then we will figure out some in-depth factorsand put forward appropriate countermeasures. This article will research the teaching experiences of four representative teachersin different environment and rely on the theory of stages of the professionaldevelopment of teachers, educational theory and the theory of factors influencing theprofessional development of teachers. It will figure out the internal and externalfactors which affect the professional development of teachers by using the Marxisttheory about man all-round development and analyzing Maslow’s needs hierarchytheory. Internal factors include the cognitive abilities of teacher, work ethic,self-analysis, evaluation, needs and motivations, and so on, which will affect theidentity of young teachers with the teacher occupation. The satisfaction at their workis a major factor which influences their sense of professional identity. Solving theproblems which teachers are most concerned about can enable them to work hard, which is a valid way. This article made a detailed analysis of salary issues andprofessional titles which most teachers concerned. We find out that the professionaldevelopment of teachers is totally influenced by the professional titles and theeducation reform must be thorough. External factors are mainly inquiry ofenvironmental factors which include teaching management and school atmosphere.Based on social mobility theory, through comparing the present situation of a primaryschool in a town with a rural school We can come to a conclusion that a higher socialstatus of urban school teachers, the advanced educational ideas of presidents, goodhardware facilities, moderate pressure are factors of the professional growthmomentum of teachers, and that urban schools are more suitable for teachers’professional growth. Through in-depth analysis uneven distribution of educationalresources, and the utilitarian education requirements from society are the cause of thebig gap between urban and rural areas.Based on the above analysis and current situation of society, I put forward threereasonable proposals in this paper,-----the school teachers, leaders and schools, hoping they can have a positive effect on teachers’ education work in Huantai County.Of course, we should know that solving these problems concerns not only theeducational system but also many departments. The effect of the educational system istemporary but not permanent. Continuing to deepen the reform of the educationalsystem and further improving the construction of the social system is the key tosolving all the problems. Zhang Zhiyong emphasizes that we must promote the reformof the education system, coordination of school education and out-of-school educationand the pattern of many interests. Xi Jinping Chairman said,“No money can not dogood education. Enough money but not speeding up the reform will also do no goodeducation. Our country is increasing investment in education, and at the same time, should comprehensively promote the reform of educational system and mechanism, tomake people satisfied with the education.” Only if we do a good job in educationreform, can we really develop good education. In the last part, I briefly sum up the conclusion of the research, analyze theshortcomings and make the direction of further research clear.
