On September 21, 2013, Harvard University carried out a five-year,social fund-raising campaign, with the total amount of 6.5 billion dollar.Until December 21, 2015, Harvard University has raised $6 billion, which was a great success. To major in the successful experience, for our country university fund-raising,will have great instructive significance to the society.The author found that this time,the social fund-raising campaign, on the purpose of fund-raising campaign, was different from the past ones,which targets were to get the funds to maintain the normal operation of the university. To make university development planning and get the fund-raising together, so this time,the value and meaning of the fund-raising campaign has the double, namely to ease economic predicament and to establish the university development orientation.In the concrete practice of fund-raising, the fund-raising campaign based on inheritance and make some innovations. First of all, the fund-raising campaign is based on Harvard University Fund-raising Committee, with professional and fine operation; Second, under the unified leadership of the Harvard college to participate in the fund-raising campaign; Then the movement of the various colleges participate in started to break the barriers and disciplines of the boundaries of the college, under the guidance of the same project cooperation; Again, the Fund-raising is occurred in the network become the people's life style, as a result, the network plays a role as media in the fund-raising campaign; Finally, Fund-raising form is also a breakthrough, to donate more smooth ways.From a social perspective, the correlation of the Harvard Campaign also has the breadth of the influence that previously did not have. Harvard University use "Send Out" and "Introduction", support for the students and alumni, and the nature as a way of interactive of social, has brought the positive influence to the success of the Campaign,; At the same time,the Harvard University has gained good social support, including: American Christian social cultural environment, good social supervision system, the United States government supporting taxation system and the system of the matching funds.Harvard Campaign has instructive significance for our country's universities, mainly lies in two aspects: firstly, we must change the traditional view about social fund-raising campaign; Secondly, we can learn a lot from Harvard fund-raising campaign in the following aspects:improve universities' own construction, change the strategies of fund-raising activities,have more social participation and the government must make some policies to support our countries' social fund-raising campaign.
