The tendency of urbanization is inevitable in rural education,"national training plan" as one of the rural teacher training projects, also has urbanizing trends and brought about some problems. Therefore, we should treat it correctly, it is necessary to recognize theat it is a route the rural education must take, but we should face the problem of excessive urbanization in rural education. Rural teachers should have a long-term foresight, broad vision, and as the teacher training in rural areas, it should be a reasonable guide for rural teachers, to promote the formation of such abilityFirst of all, this article researches in a program hosted by an university in a city in west and named as "national training plan—rural teacher training project", as participation and observation as the main means,we found "national training plan" work is too theoretical, divorced from the reality. Problems through surveys and interviews, further analysis, phenomenon of excessive urbanization is an important cause of the above problems, at the same time, through data analysis we also found there is a serious tendency of urbanization such as the main source, training content, training base.Secondly, based on the view of dialectics,analyzing the urbanization tendency of "national training plan", its positive significance is the route modernization of rural education must take, but the excessive urbanization also brought the rural education to follow blindly, lead to the loss of rural culture and becomes as affiliation of education. Based on this analysis, we think the future of the "national training plan" for the starting point of the professional development of rural teachers, should not only adhere to the urbanization as direction, but also sould realize rural education is not as same as city education, and should assure rural education to achieve its own transcendence.Thirdly, analysis for the reasons of urbanization trends of "national training plan" and its excessive phenomenon,are mainly from the national policy, education system, social culture, training management, teachers themselves and other aspects.Finally, on how to grasp the extent of urbanization of "national training plan" to improve the pertinence and effectiveness of professional development of rural teachers. This research is based on the current, and focuses on the future of rural education, puts forward to the solution from the increasing capital injection and preferential policies to improve the teacher training system and perfecting it, training rural teachers’cultural self-confidence, proposing reasonable value orientation of rural education.
