Since the ILO/UNESCO Recommendation concerning the Status of Teachers was published in1966, the professional development of teachers has been becoming an increasingly hot issue. Currently the teachers’professional development is confronted with a variety of challenges brought about by the changes of modern society. To be specific, the challenges are as follows:the school education being profoundly influenced by the expansion of educational scale and the increase of educatees, the traditional principles of what makes a teacher and professionalism of teachers being impacted by changes of both society and education, the ethical dimension of teachers’ professional development that is related to their professional development, social status, and the quality of education, and so on.Teachers in kindergartens are facing complicated problems of professional ethics. In this research, the author first analyzes teachers’professional development and ethical responsibilities, and then probes into the ethical dimension of teachers’professional development and the implication of kindergarten teachers’professional ethics. Based on the foundation of teachers’professional ethics, values of kindergarten teachers’ professional ethics are explored in the essay. Then the author discusses the preschool teachers’ethical responsibilities for the children, the parents of the kids, their colleagues, the society and the knowledge they impart.The rules of professional ethics are defined as the codes of conduct made by the professional groups, which the employees must comply with. In the dissertation, the author first investigates the process of formation of the general ethics. Afterwards, the author discusses the various factors in the process of formation of the kindergarten teachers’professional ethics, the educational relations influencing the preschool teachers’formation of professional ethics, and the negotiating process of the child care teachers’professional ethics. In the end, the general process of formation of the kindergarten teachers’professional ethics is included. Besides, the ethical principles of NAEYC and the brief history of value commitment are taken as examples and analyzed respectively.The professional ethics will not have any constraint force unless they are internalized. As for internalization, it refers to the formation of an individual’s professional ethics. The study is based on Lawrence Kohlberg’s theory of stages of moral development. Accordingly, the author talks about the types and forms of the internalization of professional ethics, and analyzed the factors which impact on the internalization of kindergarten teachers’professional ethics. Specifically, the factors are as follows:the professional knowledge and skills are the foundation of the internalization of preschool teachers’professional ethics; the system culture of a kindergarten the psychological atmosphere of the internalization of kindergarten teacher’professional ethics; the external pressure of education the social background of the child care teachers’internalizing their professional ethics. Then the author summarizes the patterns of kindergarten teachers’internalizing their professional ethics according to some interview materials, that is, attempting to understand the knowledge of ethics for being aware of professional practice on the level of ethics, establishing the value system of ethical norm by reflecting the professional practice, and strengthening the kindergarten teachers’ethical education to promote the enhancement of their ethical quality.The kindergarten teachers’formation of professional ethics can be extended to the ethical consciousness. The ethical consciousness at the level of profession could be divided into the solution of the ethical dilemma and the autonomous ethical decision making. The author first discusses the common ethical dilemmas confronting the preschool teachers in their work, and then he proposes the steps for solving the problem. In addition, the factors that influences the kindergarten teachers’ethical decision making from professional perspective, the process of making decisions, and the professionally ethical modes which are responsible.
