The rural society is rich in a variety of cultural resources. For the local youth children, culture resources is their "born and bred" soil. With the accelerated process of urbanization and informationization, local culture is in the dissolution gradually. China’s basic education curriculum reform emphasizes teaching localization and returning to life. Local culture into the campus has become more common practice. The research on how to use new media technology to protect and inherit the local cultural resources become’’hot spot’". This paper focuses on two questions:firstly, in the new media environment, whether local culture has a place in the school curriculum? Secondly, Whether we can use new media technology to develop school-based curriculum which is based on local cultural soil? What is the specific technology strategies? With these questions, based on literature research, interview and participant observation, combed the status of local culture into the campus from the perspective of new media perspective, this paper has selected Guangyuan in Sichuan and Longshan in Hunan both as a investigation field, focusing on two kinds of local cultural resources "maliu embroidery" and "tujia brocade". With the interview of scholars, government officials, school leaders, teachers, students and inheriting people group, this paper observes the similarities and differences of new media technology involved in the protection and inheritation of local culture and spreading into campus, combing the influencing factors of local culture into the campus, finally puts forward suggestions and strategies from the perspective of technology, cultural consciousness and local curriculum resources.Comparing two kinds of local culture, the author has found its organizational forms in application activity different. For the "maliu embroidery" attempt into the campus, different groups have different opinion and awareness of local resource development. The survey found:there is a contradiction between the potential richness of "ma liu embroidery" and the lackness of school-based local curriculum resource development; the universal application of the new media technologies did not have a fact support for the development of local curriculum resources."tujia brocade" shows active scene in Longshan, its main performance is:teachers can properly use network mining local curriculum resources; it has become a conscious cultural behavior that using the media technology to record and spread "tujia brocade". The local curriculum resources of " cultural sharing project " has effectively supported the practice of local culture into the campus.Based on the comparison of two case, this paper argues that local curriculum resources in the view of local knowledge has a unique value and characteristics; it is the important carrier of local culture inheritance in the era of new media. The local culture of "tujia brocade" and "maliu embroidery" is lively, has the vitality of the local knowledge, by means of expression and dissemination of new media, its influence was to expand the space and the time. However, the possibility of dissemination and inheritance of local knowledge in local schools, does not depend on technology. New media, has straight approached the school education system, assuming the responsibility of education in a great degree. But the proper use of new media technology, depends on the individual’s subjective initiative. Rational use of new media development of local curriculum resources is the organic combination of research, theory and practice, a spiral process. Under the guidance of the "Underware" and appropriate technology applications, creating a new media environment based on local culture soil, building local curriculum resources of the new media environment, creating "digital classroom" of the local culture, so as to continuously improve the overall strategy of the local culture into the campus.
