This paper mainly introduce the background of it—with the development of society, the value of education is becoming more and more modernised, international and westernised, and most people are far from local culture,traditonal culture,even lost themselves. Guizhou province is poor,and has fallen so behind that many people including some natives are unknown to it,even lead misunderstanding. In order to develop local culture, make people especially natives and teenagers have a good knowledge of Guizhou and love Guizhou,this paper tries to link local resources with the course of senior history so as to study the application of teaching in local history education in Guizhou province.Part one: Analyze the necessity of developing local history education in Guizhou province.Part two: Expand on the advantages and the meaning of local education in Guizhou province, and some good examples successfully applied in the local resources and education are given.Part three: According to local culture characteristics and culture information in Guizhou province,writer gives the ways of linking local culture ,tradition resources and teaching in senior history.Part four: On one hand,we have to face many problems between traditional education in history and local culture resources. On the other hand, we must keep our responsibility as a history teacher in our mind.
