In the curricular reform in21stcentury, the “student-development-oriented”idea is widely acknowledged, the students’ learning styles is promoted tochange and the interactivity and openness are emphasized. The interactivityand openness are fully embodied in the Interactive Model of Two Plansdirected by Professor Xu Baofang of Inner Mongolia Normal University.Through years of practical teaching application, the model breaks thetraditional teaching model and further adapts the development of moderneducation and gets outstanding results.Teaching plan and learning plan are the two important carriers for thescientific implementation of the Interactive Model of Two Plans. Thegeography learning plan is one of the important tools for students to realizeinteractive and cooperative learning.Under the background of new curriculum reform of compulsoryeducation, and under the guidance of the ten ideas of the Interactive Model ofTwo Plans, the paper, by using the such research methods as literatureresearch method, interviewing method and case study method, collects andstudies the general theoretical learning plan design is carried out according tothe features of the two textbooks (People’s Education Press edition) of theeighth-grade students, and preliminary learning plan is formed. Besides, byanalyzing and concluding the learning plan design, theories that are moresuitable for the eighth-grade geography learning plan design is obtained asfollows:I. Under the Interactive Model of Two Plans, the general features of theeighth-grade geography learning plan are: content hierarchy, form variety, andprocess openness.II. The theoretical basis of geography learning plan design are theoretical basis of educational psychology including constructivism learning theory, learning motivation theory and learning strategic theory as well as theoreticalbasis of geography learning theory and geography learning plan designtheory.III. The learning plan under the Interactive Model of Two Plans differs tothe ordinary learning plan in the following aspects: It emphasizes clear target, interactivity of teaching and learning, methods impartation, learningcooperation and knowledge structure.IV. The geography learning plan is made of learning objective,self-learning, learning to learn, in-class learning and brief summary, as well asthe whole-part-whole internal relationship of the five parts of the learningplan.V. Eighth-grade geography learning plan design strategy based on theInteractive Model of Two Plans: basic strategy, structuring strategy, innovative strategy and interest-based strategy.VI. Suggestions to the design of eighth-grade geography learning plan:laying stress on the analysis of students’ interests, collection of real-timematerials, analysis of teaching materials, communication with students anddiscussion with teachers. The author designs49class hours of learning plan according to the180knowledge points in the24sections of9chapters of the eighth-gradetextbooks (People’s Education Press edition). In terms of structure analysis, each class hour of the learning plan is divided into five parts of learningobjective, self-learning, learning to learn, in-class learning and brief summary. The design of learning plan shows the content feature of the eighth-gradegeography textbooks and is completed by applying the above four designstrategies.
