With China’s basic education curriculum reform and high school geography curriculum standards promulgated and implemented, the concept of the new curriculum standards has impressed deeply upon everyone’s mind, and increasingly become the consensus of the high school geography teachers.Geographic teaching model of double activities and two plans in senior high school have been implemented since2003, and today have been implemented for almost10years.At present, geographic teaching model of double activities and two plans in senior high school has been made encouraging results on experimental study in some schools, but there are many problems need to be solved. The "10ideas"of teaching model of double activities and two plans also need to perfect.The author through the questionnaire on three schools in the implementation of the teaching model of double activities and two plans (The Hohhot first Middle School,33secondary schools in Baotou City, Wuhai first middle school)340students, interviews about eight teachers and the collection about106hours studying plan and31hours teaching plan, analyzed and summarized to find the achievements and problems in the implementation of the teaching model of double activities and two plans, and made recommendations to tackle the problems.In this paper, using the method of literature research, investigation, induction and other methods to study the status of implementation of teaching mode of double activities and two plans, and draws the following basic conclusions:1.Through the implementation of geographic teaching model of double activities and two plans in senior high school, consciousness and initiative of the students’learning has been enhanced, with good habits of advance preview, the ability of students’reading, analysis, use of charts are improved, but also learned summary of geographical knowledge, with a certain degree of geographic thinking, and improve the methods and strategies for learning geography.2.Through the implementation of geographic teaching model of double activities and two plans in senior high school, teachers have changed the traditional teaching mode, and began a independent, inquiry classroom form change from the traditional lecturing, teacher follows the principle of learn before teach in "10ideas"of teaching model of double activities and two plans. Through the write of the studying plan, teachers have deepened the understanding of the material, improve the ability to integrate resources. Instructional design tend to be reasonable, more in line with the new curriculum requirements 3.In the implementation of the teaching model of double activities and two plans, we also found some problems.In the design of studying plan and teaching plan, studying plan did not set the optional problems, the form of exercises is single; studying plan’s Column is flexible, but not specification; lack of geographical experiments in the studying plan that students can hands-on, geographic thinking is not enough throughout the studying plan and teaching plan, the writing of teaching objectives in teaching plan is not standard. In the use of studying plan and teaching plan, teachers and students use the studying plan to expand the cooperative inquiry fewer; teaching plan designed delay or do not write teaching plan.4.For the problems in the implementation of the teaching model of double activities and two plans, I make a few suggestions.In the design of studying plan and teaching plan, teaching plan must write with the studying plan, the exercises of the studying plan should be diverse and flexible.In order to train the students’practice ability, studying plan should be properly increase the geographic experimental activities. In the use of studying plan and teaching plan, give full play to the function of training students’ geographic thinking; give full play to the function of training students’ability of knowledge summarized.To take advantage of the studying plan to carry out cooperative inquiry; focus on the coordinate studying plan and teaching plan with multimedia and writing on the blackboard; by examining the exercises in studying plan, focusing on the evaluation of students’learning process.
