As an important literary genre in high school text book,novel is verypopular among students because of its twisted,vivid plots and various stylesof characters. However,the teaching of novel is not satisfying. The currentteaching mode not only, failed in stimulating students’ interests,improvingproficiency and enhancing their reading ability,but also make students feelboring for the same stereotype of analyses.This paper will be based on the novel style, on the basis of cognitivepsychology, reception aesthetics, dialogue theory. Also the teachers shouldcombine with the new curriculum background and teaching practice to make asystematic research with the high school novels reading teaching.The main body of this paper is divided into four parts. Firstly, Theintroduction part of the reason, significance, status quo, the method of studyon summary analysis. Followed by the prevue of high school Chinese novelteaching, divided into novel teaching goal and the theory, this part laid atarget for novel teaching strategy is proposed with theoretical basis. Again, itis the author of senior high schools are teaching materials and teachingpresent situation carries on the analysis of existing problems, make the novelmore targeted teaching strategy, is a novel reading teaching strategies are putforward. Finally, he author on the basis of previous analysis, proposed to highschool novel teaching method in reading teaching.
