The reading ability′s teaching is a most important part in middle school′s Chinese language teaching. Since the beginning of this new century, more and more scholars had pointed out problems in the former reading ability′s teaching while the reform of Chinese language teaching progressed all the time ,and the"non-instruction"reading teaching is proposed under the background that it is required to pay more attention to students themselves as well as to melt students′thought and feeling in their reading action by Zheng Yinong. This model is well known in Chinese language teaching field, and what this article want to do is actually to have an overlook on it from all aspects and to point out all its serviceability and deficiency the same time.The concrete is as follows:In the first part, we will mainly talk about the significance of the establishment of the"non-instruction"reading teaching under this new background that new reforms has just taken place in Chinese language teaching field, and in particular the significance to the TEACHER and the STUDENT. Meanwhile, we will also point out the connection and fitness between the two goals of senior school′s Chinese language education, namely:"reading and appreciation"and"expression and communication".In the second part, we will provide a thoroughly interpretation to the"non-instruction"reading teaching both from basic connotation aspect and theory foundation aspect, furthermore ,we will especially make a more careful analysis on Roger′s new theories ,which actually are its theory foundation like"constructism teaching theory"and"dialogue communication theory"in reading and so on.In the third part, we will mainly discuss the utilization of the"non-instruction"reading teaching and make interpretation to its premise, concrete flow, and application characteristics.In the forth part, we will at last discuss the problems or shortcomings of the"non-instruction"reading teaching, and propose some corresponding optimized strategy with the hope that the theory of this model can be more ameliorated.In summarize, this article comprehensively inspected the"non-instruction"reading teaching and pointed out its value, while as the Chinese language teaching in senior school in future, more than learn from this model it is also necessary for us to have a clear idea that all things have their limitation as well as the"non-instruction"reading teaching.
