Parent-child read classical sinology is similar to a game-played education activity, which in afriendly atmosphere, parents and children mutual reading the proper Chinese classical literature.This activity plays an important role not only in the mutual growth of parents-child, but also inthe inheritance of traditional culture. Only when the Chinese classical literature keeps pace withthe times and applies to practice can it achieve its modern times value. The research ofParent-child read classical sinology is helpful to enrich the parent-child reading activity and theChinese classical literature education theory. The background of this thesis is based on domesticand aboard parent-child reading achievements, combing with the Changsha’s parent-childreading status. Taking as the sample, adopting the questionnaire method, the thesis analyzes thestatus of it and puts forward some guiding suggestions.On the basis of literature review, this thesis makes an empirical investigation about theChangsha’s parent-child reading the Chinese classic status quo. It studies from the followingthree aspects, that is, parents’ perception of parent-child reading the Chinese classic, the specificimplementation of parent-child reading the Chinese classic and the practice of parent-childreading the Chinese classic in life. For the first aspect, it will study the parents’ awareness of theparent-child reading, the parents’ choice of reading material and value recognize of parent-childreading. For the second aspect, the thesis discuss the major accompany reading participant, theratio time of spending on Chinese classic reading during the whole parent-child reading time, thefrequency of reading the Chinese classic and the parents’ guidance. And for the final aspect, thethesis will discuss from parents’ guiding behaviors and the influence of the life practice.Based on the statistics of the empirical investigation, the analysis finds some problems existin Changsha’s parent-child reading the Chinese classic activity, such as the inconsistency ofparents’ awareness and action, the overlook of the children’ age trait, the lack of the life practiceeducation and so on. The thesis analyzes the causes of these problems and put forward relevantsuggestions from the government to family. For the government, it needs to intensifyresponsibility consciousness and the guiding role. For the community, it needs to consummate allkinds of social education system and combine the advantages’ of the education organizations.For parent-child reading the Chinese classic public lecture, it needs to improve the teachers’cultural literacy, the class teaching quality and agency service system. For the family, it needs toimprove the parents’ education technology literacy, create a friendly family reading atmosphereand strengthen the classic reading routine of life. This thesis regards the parent-child reading theChinese classic activity as a project that it needs the all the social members’ participation and itneeds the family’s support, the social support and the government’s support to develop itself.
