With the rapid development of all over the world,in order to improve the scientific abilityand help citizens cope to the more and more developed society.both China and the UnitedStates start a new reforms of curriculum standards and textbook.United States issue National Science Education Standards in1999to promote the level ofscience teaching.In china the biology curriculum standard experiment was published in2003, the standardbegin come into effect until in2004.At present, the comparison study of textbook and Education Standards about at home andabroad are relatively small and focused on the description of the content and the form.This study reports a detailed comparative study of china and USA curriculum standards andtextbook at the theoretical level with the methods of coparative,introduce materials, sameknowledge point,column selection,exercises,and so on.through on China high schoolbiolog textbook and United States high school major textbook《the Dynamics Of Life》According to above studies we can conclude that, United States textbook knowledge ismore complete curriculum standards requiring more promote the cultivation of students ’exploring ability, more extensive of experimental type and more achievable, teachingmaterials is more abstract,Closer to students ’ lives. China textbook structure of teachingmaterials Logical is relatively strict.
