Written test is the most direct and efficient means to evaluate teaching results. Different written tests have different purposes and functions, so the making of questions should be consistent with the testing requirements. In the face of new course reformation, written tests have to be adept to new course requirements to achieve vitality. This research provides theoretical support and practical reference to practicing teachers in test making and teaching.This research includes such methods as literature review, compare and contrast, and case study. This paper starts from test compiling theories, briefly outlining the theoretical basis for test-making, then studying designing characteristics of various types of testing questions, and analyzing how to embody the new course concepts in written test question making. Attention has to be paid to the types of tests in question making, so that questions can be designed in accordance with the testing requirements; the new course concepts must be reflected in the questions, so that students can be assessed in multiple dimensions. In this way, written test making of senior high school chemistry can develop toward the right direction. This research provides theoretical support and practical reference to practicing teachers in test making and teaching.
