The Effect Of The University Student Volunteer Activities In Ideological And Political Education

Volunteer service has become an important part of human social life, which is anvoluntary, without taking into account the material rewards to participate in socialactivities, and promote human development, social progress behavior. It embodies thesocial civilization and progress. In recent years, China’s volunteer activities developrapidly, communist party and country attaches great importance to the development ofthe social volunteer service activities, and constantly improve the social voluntary servicesystem. The university student volunteer activities as an important part of the socialvoluntary service activities, and an important way of ideological and political educationin university have an important role in the ideological and political education. This paperexplores the effect of the ideological and political education of university studentvolunteer activities, with the literature method, interview, based on the actualdevelopment of the situation in the activities of student volunteers, from the two aspectsabout ideological and political education work and university students. And this paperstudy how to promote the innovation of the ideological and political education work bycollege students volunteer activities.The paper is divided into four main sections: Introduction section describes thepurpose and significance of topics, research and innovation of the papers, presents areview of the basic situation of the domestic and foreign university student volunteeractivities and their ideological and political education role by the literature review. Thefirst chapter defines a few basic concepts of volunteer activities, and summarizes theimportant role of the college students volunteer activities on the ideological and politicaleducation work and students. This paper argues that university students volunteeractivities contribute to increase the content of the ideological and political education,contribute to innovate the way of ideological and political education, contribute toimprove the subjectivity of the educated, and contribute to improve the environment ofthe ideological and political education. The second chapter summarizes the developmentof university student volunteer activities. The third chapter proposed recommendations tobetter play the role of university student volunteers activities in the ideological andpolitical education from three aspects. Fistly advocate the volunteer spirit in the ideological and political education. Secondly innovate ofplatform of practice and theenvironment of ideological and political education by the university students volunteeractivities. Finally strengthen the building of the organization of university studentvolunteers.
