With economic development, corporate plays an increasingly important role in society.The development of enterprises creates wealth for society, but it also bring about someproblems. With the increasing of the problems, CSR comes into people’s vision. Thedevelopment of enterprises and social development are mutually reinforcing, if they shouldfulfill social responsibility and take into account the interests of stakeholders, Corporatepursuit of profit, so it can help enterprises to establish a good social image, attract talent,improve the reputation of the products and service, increase in intangible assets, which helpscompanies obtain long-term competitiveness.For CSR can help enterprises to enhance the competitiveness, domestic and foreignscholars did not achieve a consensus. This paper attempts to combine China’s actual situation,using the method of combining theoretical and empirical to analysis relationship between CSRand enterprises competitiveness. First, according to our current business situation, we bringforward the background and significance of the study; Second, we read and summarize therelevant literature to lay the foundation for the theoretical basis of the study; Third, wecombine the theory and the specific circumstances to design research model and the indexsystem. Finally, we process data, and get conclusion about the impact of CSR on thecompetitiveness of enterprises.The64pharmaceutical listed companies2008-2010,192samples,the followingconclusions: enterprises to fulfill their social responsibility to enhance the competitiveness ofenterprises; CSR to compete not only on the current enterprise force of an impact has apositive impact on the competitiveness of enterprises in the late; enterprises to fulfill theirresponsibility to shareholders, government, creditors and suppliers to enhance thecompetitiveness of enterprises; assume responsibility for the staff may weaken thecompetitiveness of enterprises; enterprises responsibility for the environment and thecompetitiveness of enterprises.
