A Comparative Study Of Innovative Enterprises’ Technological Innovation Capacity

The Technological Innovation is considered as a confirmed approach to enhance theenterprise’s central competitiveness, and it was strongly proved credible by severaldifferent cases’ researches made by scholars. The Technological Innovation also standsamong the central parts which leads the long-lasting rapid growth of the nation’seconomy and the comprehensive competence of it. It’s the modern economy’s model’smost manifest character that the time between the innovation and the industrial usage wasshortening at the maximum. Thus, the contemporary leadership of China lead byPresident Hu Jintao announced the strategic thoughts of making China an “InnovativeCountry” by the Fifth Plenum of the16th. With the context mentioned before, theDepartment of Science and Technology, with joint of the State owned Assets Supervisionand Administration Commission under the State Council (SASAC), also with All ChinaFederation of Trade Unions (ACFTU), had decided to run the “Project of TechnologicalInnovation’s Guidance” into schedule and the “Innovative Enterprise Piloted Project”.And three batch of enterprise hitherto was entitled as the “Innovative Enterprise” afterevaluation. These enterprises stand right at the edge as the pioneer of the technologicalinnovation of company of China. This thesis focused on the capacity of the power tomake the technological innovations of these “Innovative Enterprise” mentioned before.Based on the documents and literature of review and analysis made by domestic andinternational researchers. The approach was made in two aspects by analyzing theexisting research result.The first aspect is to make the comparative analysis and researching of the capacitydifference between different “Innovative Enterprises”. By using the DEA (Data EnvelopApproach) method and the Malmquist Index method upon the DEA, the differentcapacity of the various Innovative Enterprise was quantized and the rate of changes wasalso calculated. Then grouping and classify those company separately by its subordinatebatch which entitled as Innovative Enterprise, the district of the company, the density oftechnology, the different ownership of the company, and to inspect the differentiation ofthe data acquired afore by Nonparametric Method, thus to isolate and quantized theeffectual factor of the different attribute of the enterprise.The research shows that besides the different subordinate batch of the entitled datewhich caused by the difference on the scale among those enterprises, which means, thecost scale on Technology Innovation of the enterprise depends on the scale of firm, noother obvious effect factor was found.Certainly, the research shows that the well developed economic environment of theenterprise’s local district and the higher density of the technology and science are theprimary impetus factor of the capacity in creative power of Innovative Enterprise, the state-owned company shows more potential advantages than the enterprises of otherownership.The second aspects is to make a comparative research by compare the creativecapacity of Innovative Enterprise and the Top1000global companies by R&Dinvestment. Still make the approach through DEA method and Malmquist Index method.By quantize and calculating the capacity of the creative and innovation and the changerate of the creation of the Innovative Enterprise and the top company aforementioned,then inquire, or show the disparity of the data obtained through the aforementionedapproach, thus make the disparity between us and the world’s leading company visuallyby digitalized the gap.The research shows that although there are significant gap on the capacity ofcreations and innovate of the Innovative Enterprise and world’s leading companyaforementioned, but those companies stand with the advantage of having the faster pacein developing such kind of capacity than the top company. There is a tendency that showsthe aforementioned gap is shrinking by years, clearly.Through the research made by the scholar who wrote this thesis, a visual chart couldbe made to clear and definite the effect factor makes the enterprise different in thecapacity on technological innovation, the current situation and the trend of developmentwas also very explicit through this paper. From these researches, we can get a clear visionon the shortage of the China’s Innovative Enterprises.
