The21st century is the era of “Knowledge Economy”, what is an indisputable fact. AndrewCarnegie, U.S. steel magnate, said: If my plant, equipment and materials were totallydestroyed, I did not care. As long as my class men were unchanged, a few years later, I wouldcontinue to be a steel magnate. Talent is the key to development of enterprises. And theknowledge-type employees are the company’s most important human capital. In a sense, themanagement guru Peter Drucker said: Knowledge was the only far-reaching resource. WorldBank report shows that:64percent of the world’s wealth is created by human capital(intellectual capital) in the current. In1992,Gary S·Becker, U.S. professor of economics andsociology, human capital has become the source of human wealth, the growth of economicgrowth. It can be said that knowledge workers is the first resource to improve thecompetitiveness of enterprise, to promote the rapid development of enterprise. Given theimportance of knowledge-type workers and the lack of research to knowledge-type workers,this study investigates the influencing factors of SWB and PWB of enterprise knowledgeworkers through a questionnaire survey, and explores the status quo of knowledge workers’happiness, differences of knowledge-based workers’ SWB and PWB cross-influencing factorsof knowledge-based workers’ SWB and PWB and the relation of cross-influencing in differentpositionsand.The formal questionnaire for this study is obtained through researching, selection, processingand amending the pre-inspection questionnaire, including happiness questionnaire and thequestionnaire of SWB and PWB. Access and summary psychology,sociology,managementand other multi-disciplinary knowledge of previous literature,combined with practicalexperience and the purpose of this study, concluded that the theoretical framework of themodel in this study. The questionnaire of SWB includes10dimensions, that is, sex, marriage,age, income, family, health, personality, interpersonal relationships, self-efficacy, emotion andsocial support. The questionnaire of PWB contains7dimensions. That is, self-acceptance,personal growth, life goals, positive relations, environmental control, autonomy andpersonality. The results of this study shows that:1. Knowledge-type workers’ SWB is positively corrected to age and marriage. But SWB isnot significantly corrected to sex. The same times,SWB is significantly positive correction toeconomic income, job, family support, heath, personality, interpersonal relationships, self efficacy, emotion and social support;2. PWB is positively corrected to self-acceptance, personal growth, life goals, positiverelation, environmental control, autonomy and personality;3. Interpersonal relationships and personality have a positive correlation between SWB andPWB. And there are varying degrees of impact;4. Influencing factors in the happiness of the enterprise knowledge workers, jobs, income,work, family support, social support, self-acceptance, relationships, life goals, emotions,personal growth, environmental control, self-efficacy significant difference. And other factorsrelative in terms of significant difference is not very obvious.5. The theoretical framework model is mended.
