With the process of global economic integration developed acceleratly, economic connectionof countries and regions become more and more close. This paper is based on spillover effect ofregional economic development. It distinguishes21cities of Guangdong into core-peripheralstructure through Spatial Autocorrelation analysis method, and select FDI spillover effect,Laborspillover effect and Knowledge spillover effect as three transmit mechanisms. Deeply discuss theinteraction of regional economy by estimating the direction、size and long-term effects trend ofthe above three transmit mechanisms in overall spillover effect of two regions. The study finds that there is a two-way spillover effect of economic growth between tworegions, and the spillover effect of core area is larger than fringe area.It shows that core area playsmore positive role than fringe area in the course of economic development. Moreover, there is aunilateral FDI spillover effect from core area to fringe area,a unilateral Labor spillover effectfrom fringe area to core area,a two-way Knowledge spillover effect between the two areas, andKnowledge spillover effect of core area is larger than fringe area.At last,we give some targetedsuggestions to promote coordinated development of regional economy of Guangdong.Firstly, weshould enhance the foreign investment attract of fringe area, which requires relevantinfrastructure construction and industrial supporting conditions to shrink investment gap betweentwo areas.Secondly,we should strengthen workers’ knowledge and labor skills to improve thequality of them. Finally,we should continue to promote knowledge innovation to spread anddiffuse between two areas,as far as possible to play out scientific knowledge as productivityeffect between areas.
