Comprehensive Evaluation Of Circular Economic Development In Nanchang

According to "12th5-Year-Planning" of Nanchang, we must make full use of theadvantage of ecological environment and transform the traditional development mode tocircular economic development mode, in order to promote the development of Nanchang. Itplays a very important role in promotion of comprehensive utilization of water resources, landresources and energy, promotion of industrial restructuring in Nanchang, promotion ofimprovement in the consumption patterns and the ecological environment and improvementof the overall quality of people. Circular economy has become a major subject of worldeconomic development, and comprehensive evaluation of circular economy is currently oneof hot points in the field of the circular economy.On the first part of this article, there is a general review of the theory of circulareconomy and the development status of foreign and domestic circular economy. Then SWOTis used to analyse strengths, weaknesses, challenges and opportunities of the construction ofcircular economy in Nanchang. On the second part, based on the characteristics of Nanchang,we, depending on the principles of reunification in scientificity and practicability,systematicness and hierarchy, mensurability and comparability, determine the circulareconomic status-trend evaluation system, including four sub-systems of economy, society,environment and ecology. Then longitudinal comprehensive evaluation analysis of circulareconomy in Nanchang from2000to2009is conducted with the method of gray relationalanalysis, and horizontal comprehensive evaluation analysis of the overall status of circulareconomy in Nanchang and the other10cities of Jiangxi Province is conducted by PCA. Theanalysis result shows Nanchang, as a major city in Jiangxi Province, has a relatively strongdevelopment ability of circular economy with the guidance of the scientific concept ofdevelopment, but circulation development level between cities in Jiangxi Province isunbalanced. At the end, this article puts forward some proper suggestions and opinions forcircular economic development in Nanchang.
