The traditional hierarchy file system based on directories and files is still in use today. Althoughthis tree file structure supplies users an easy way to store and modify the file, it also brings difficultiesin locating files and directories. With the progress of hardware performance and disk storage capacity, the shortcomings of the traditional hierarchical file system (such as the lack of metadata informationto describe file) increase evidently. Especially in case of file management of small single file size andlarge magnitude, it is very difficult for the traditional hierarchical file system to find and locate filesunder which situation file management has also become a problem. In order to solve the document management problems of small single file size and large magnitude, this paper tries to use DBFS (Database-based File System, a database file system) technology, however, the existing DBFS model cannot be a good solution to this problem, so this paper uses thefull-text search technology to improve existing DBFS technology.Through a comparison betweendatabase technology and full-text search technology, this paper provides a file-based metadata and fulltext of the Quick Search by using an embedded SQLite database and full-text search engine Lucene toimprove the existing DBFS models. Through an in-depth study of Lucene, full-text search of the keytechnologies for research, research on the inverted index and individual improvement, combined withthe TF-IDF weighting algorithm for Lucene sorting algorithm to improve the existing results, itreflects the characteristics of word documents and correlation, and it enables the users to better reflectthe different emphasis on different information, and thus better meet the needs of actualretrieval. Ultimately the combination with the requirements of ocean shipping business mailmanagement builds a business ocean transportation mail management prototype system based onDBFS. Study of this project provides voyage estimation with decision support to ocean transportationcompanies like the Uniwell (HK), improves the efficiency to quickly obtain decision-makinginformation in the voyage from the accumulation of vast amounts of information of ocean shippingcompanies, so it has a good supporting effect. In summary, the research has a high theoretical andpractical value.
