The emerge of e-commerce has solved logistics’ delay caused by the asymmetrybetween information flow, capital flow, and business flow, in order to enhancemodern logistics and distribution velocity for shipbuilding sphere, the paper focuseson the third-party steel logistics and distribution centers oriented small andmedium-sized shipping enterprises, which can coordinate steel suppliers and localshipping plants, private plants, or shipyards. It also can forward steel pretreatmentfor small and medium-sized shipping enterprises, and reduce steel cutting andprocessing centers’ invest cost, and extend steel supply chain, as a result to promoteinformation communication between shipping manufactures and steel suppliers, andincrease the transparency of management for shipping-steel supply chain.Recently, Agent is a hot issue in the area of distributed artificial intelligence andsoftware, among which Multi-Agent system has its unique advantages in goodcoordination, sound open, comprehensive adaptability, simple design, quick reply, easy reconstruction and so on. Those characteristics exactly satisfy the platform ofthe third-party small and medium-sized steel logistics and distribution centers ofshipping enterprises. Firstly, the paper reviews some theories about logistics, steeldistribution centers, Agent technology, MAS modeling methods, the article thencomes up with the third-party steel logistics and distribution centers of shippingenterprises’ architecture bases on Multi-Agent system modeling methods. It reflectsinformation platform from Multi-angle, and applies AUML Modeling Method, which extends more mature methods-UML, to realize the construction of staticmodel and dynamic model by global modeling, role modeling, use case, activityDiagram, class Diagram etc., and accomplish the process of analysis and design ofsystem. Moreover, the paper introduces steel distribution centers’ core functions andinformation communication and transformation of different agents, such as order, inventory, steel-processing, steel-picking, vehicle scheduling and distributing Agentand so on. Finally, the paper depicts realizable techniques for MAS system:communication language and coordination mechanics, Develop Platform-Java AgentDevelopment Framework(JADE), and Jade Class Libraries.
