Since1990s, the manufacture export from China has gone through rapid rise and bloomingdevelopment and soaring exports. What are the influence factors that affect manufacture export? What are the industry differences between different sub-sectors? More importantly, What are theevolution trend of these influence factors? These questions above will be mainly answered in thispaper.Based on theory and literature review, the influence factors that affect manufacture exportmainly contain three parts. First, it is traditional factors including level of productivity and factorendowment. Second, it is economy of scale including domestic market scale and industryagglomeration. Third, it is other factors including the type of enterprise ownership, FDI, the levelof financial market development and infrastructure. With the data of the manufacture export fromChina to America as the empirical sample, this paper tries to systematically analyze the influencefactors. The empirical test result shows the following conclusion. First, it is that all the factors cansignificantly and stability affect manufacture export except for total factor productivity. Second, itis that the industry differences regarding influence factors. Third, it is that the per capitaproductivity, intensity of factor and information infrastructure can not effectively promotemanufacture export as time goes by.Relying on empirical conclusion this paper tries to summarize the influence factors of the keyindustries and the evolution trend of influence factors affecting manufacture export. In order topromote manufacture export further this paper gives the policy implication as followed. First aboveall, on the basis of industry differences between different sub-sectors this paper gives appropriatepolicy implication to key industries. Secondly, based on the evolution trend of influence factors thispaper shows the following policy implication. Do not abandon labor advantage in advance andgive more attention to improve worker’s skills. Eliminate the backward production capacity andreduce energy consumption. Take advantage of the economy of scale bringing by huge domesticmarket scale and industry agglomeration. Sufficiently encourage the development of privateenterprise and moderately absorb foreign direct investment. Continue to rely on financial market and reverse the efficiency of credit allocation. Continue to utilize the infrastructure especially thetransport infrastructure.
